The Ocean Imaging channel features underwater and aerial footage by South Australian marine biologist Stefan Andrews.

I wonder something, you think cuttlefishes and squids can get along well with octopuses too same as how they are getting along well with each other ?
They say invasive but years ago in the reef hobby calurpa taxifolia never NEVER EVER did good and always died. But somehow in the waters of dookie n needles sand diego they thrive. I guess i just had to shit and throw drug needles in my fishtank to keep it alive. Hmm who would of known

I thought Rottnest Island in Western Australia at 32S was the most southerly. Search "Guide to Corals of Rottnest Island pdf"
You're right that Rottnest Island does have corals, but it's important to distinguish between individual corals and a coral reef. While Rottnest Island does host various species of corals due to its clear water, sunlight and warm water from the Leeuwin current - they do not form the large, structured colonies that we would classify as a coral reef. The formations at Rottnest are more correctly described as coral communities or coral outcrops. In contrast, around Lord Howe Island the corals have formed large colonies, creating a structured underwater habitat that is widely recognised as a coral reef.

Hey! Thanks for the video. I have a question: I went underwater with my Insta360 One R with 360 module and the shoots weren't good. When I tried to edit the video in the app I saw that there's like a "line" between the image of a lens and the other lens. When I use it normally you can't almost notice the line between the footage from a lens and the other but underwater yes and it ruined my shoots. Do you know why?

Just discovered your channel - loving the content so much!! Wondering if you could help me - I'm have a hard time deciding between the One RS and the One X2. I'll be using it for diving but also lots topside as well, skating, paddleboarding, etc. Any advice which camera would be best? Also, how do you angle the camera to keep the nadir out of the shot? Many thanks!
Thanks for watching! I'm confident you will be happy with either the One RS or One X2. The versatility of the RS is great for underwater and not always shooting in 360. The X2 is potentially more waterproof - but you will still need a housing to use properly underwater. As for angles - you can't really go wrong because it all comes down to the editing really. Please let us know if you have any other specific questions.
Did you use waterproof case during your diving?
Yes. I found that without the case the image from the camera doesn't look great.

Just to give you an update. My camera died in the shallow level of the sea without the waterproof case 🤣
@@OceanImaging Hi do you have any overheating issues in diving case, I saw that camera produces a lot of heat during recording.
@@111Anton333 No overheating issues but we were in quite cool (14 degree C) water which may have helped somewhat.

If they're symmetrically clawed crabs (and same sized), they outcome is totally random. The evolution pushes them to find out who's better. In assymetrical clawed crabs, it's more interesting because the crab with a bigger claw wins a confrontation without any fight.
